Causes of Headaches & Migraines
We take the time to fully explain the reasons why you've got headaches and migraines and come up with a solution together to get you out of pain fast and back doing the things that you love most. Here are a few common causes of headaches and migraines pain:
Not enough movement
This, usually coupled with stress, can lead to increased tension in the neck and shoulder muscles – a common cause of headache.
Strains and Sprains
These include minor injuries to muscles and ligaments/joints of the neck. This may be due to a car accident or other head injury.
Migraines
These type of headaches are thought to be caused by blood vessel changes within the brain. Osteopaths assess and treat your whole body to alleviate tension in and around the head.).
